MAKING PROCESS
Material: BEEF BONE / WOOD
The production process of this pendant is a highly intricate and time-consuming endeavor. Since I incorporate bronze or copper into each piece, it requires firing. Firstly, I shape the specific metal clay into the desired form, let it dry for two days, and then proceed to fire it. After firing, I meticulously polish the piece.
The success of each piece varies; however, when it comes to adding wire, there's often a risk of product breakage or rapid tool wear due to the quick heating of metals. If successful, we drill holes for the wire, select the wire, and shape it accordingly, ensuring precise measurements before inserting it into the holes.
When mixing metal with bone, we once again drill holes to create joints. After joining both pieces, I experiment with the bone - its shape and details. The creation of this pendant is an incredibly creative and precise process, resulting in a unique original.
Material: BEEF BONE / WOOD
The manufacturing process is the same for both wood and bone; it's just that bone production yields more fine dust, haha. First, I cut the bone or wood into narrow slices from which I hand-carve and sand the desired patterns. Then, we drill a hole for a hook, allowing it to be easily attached to a chain.
